DAQRI Smart Helmet and Future of Construction

This years Autodesk North American Construction Customer council meetings were held last week on June 23-24. DAQRI hosted the council meeting at their facilities in Los Angeles, CA. This years meetings focused on the latest developments with initiatives and trends such as production planning, collaboration, building operations, the internet of things, wearable technology in the field and more. I was thrilled at the chance to experience the Smart Helmet being developed by DAQRI. Autodesk Cloud Accelerator 2 and BIM 360 API

The second Autodesk Cloud Accelerator program was held from June 1 - June 12 in Autodesk San Francisco Office. Around 10 partners from around the world spend two weeks developing their applications on Autodesk Cloud Platform. I had the opportunity to attend the kick off and spend time with some of them discussing the BIM 360 APIs and the potential for integrations using the same.Developers from these partner companies got a chance to work intensively on their chosen project with the help, support and training of the Autodesk Cloud Engineering teams. The projects involved the use of any Autodesk cloud technology API – View and Data, Autodesk BIM 360, AutoCAD I/O, Autodesk InfraWorks 360 or Autodesk ReCap.
