New Online Tour of BIM 360 - Customized for Construction Personas

Autodesk BIM 360 team has created an online tour application that allows industry professionals to understand how BIM 360 can help in their day to day work. The tour is tailored to specific roles in the Construction industry and can be customized further based on user preferences. Whether you are a BIM/VDC personnel, or a Project Manager or part of Field operations team, you can select the specific role that you play in the team and look for information that is valuable to you. The online tour is accessible at Autodesk BIM360-Online Tour.

With the growing number of BIM 360 features and functionalities, it is easier to select your specific role and fine tune the information. As a first step, the online tour application allows you to do the same.

This is followed by introductory videos that walk you through some basics information about common pain in the industry and how BIM 360 can help you address them. In my experience of helping a General Contractor in the Field, brining the documents to field and performing data collection was a big challenge. In the online tour, I can quickly select the Field Superintendent role and explore the topic of Collaboration and Data Collection.
