At Autodesk University 2015, Autodesk unveiled the cloud-based Forge initiative to accelerate a cloud connected ecosystem to transform how products are designed, made and used. Following the announcement of the Forge platform, we've set the dates for our next Autodesk Forge Accelerator. The Forge Accelerator will be held in our San Francisco office from March 14th to 18th. We are inviting innovators to take advantage of Autodesk's cloud platform to build services that turn today's disconnected technologies into highly connected, personalized experiences. Forge Accelerator will provide the opportunity for you to spend the week in our office working on your projects that make use of Autodesk Forge APIs - with the help of Autodesk engineers. The Autodesk Forge APIs include the View & Data, AutoCAD I/O, BIM 360, ReCap Photo and Fusion 360 APIs.
To apply for the program, submit a proposal here describing the project you'd like to work on and how it will make use of the Autodesk Forge APIs. Remember, if your application is successful, we will provide you with accommodation at an Autodesk designated hotel. All other travel and living expenses are at your own expense. The deadline for submitting proposals is January 31st, 2016.
In the coming weeks, I will be explaining more about the Forge program and how the BIM 360 APIs and the team are getting ready for it. Looking forward to receiving your application. Let us define the future of building things together!
